A Virtual and Interactive Ethics Escape Room
Not another slideshow. It's a live, fully virtual 5-hour ethics CE escape room — you and your colleagues crack real dilemmas, decode professional standards, and unlock your CE hours together, on Zoom.
Apply these 5 live hours toward your Georgia Composite Board ethics renewal requirement — or count them as general continuing education hours.
// Why This Isn't Your Typical Ethics CE
Let's be honest: most ethics CE is a slog — endless slides, a monotone voice, and a quiz you've forgotten by lunch. The Ethics Files flips the script. It's a live, virtual escape room where you and your colleagues investigate real dilemmas, hunt for clues, crack codes, and talk through the tough calls — laughing and learning the whole way. You'll leave with your 5 CE hours and sharper judgment you'll actually remember on your next hard case. Same rigor, zero snooze.
Classification: 5-Hour Live Ethics CE
Format: Live, fully virtual, interactive escape room on Zoom.
For: LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, associates & allied mental health pros.
// Is This You?
If any of these sound like you, you're in the right room:
Any Georgia LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or associate who needs ethics or general CE hours for renewal.
If you binge crime podcasts and love a good mystery, this speaks your language.
If you like escape rooms, riddles, and figuring things out, you'll feel right at home.
If you believe learning doesn't have to be boring, this was built for you.
// The Clues
Current codes of ethics and Georgia regulatory expectations for mental health practice.
Privacy, informed consent, documentation, and protecting client information in modern practice.
Using Gutheil & Gabbard's classic framework, tell a helpful boundary crossing from a harmful violation — and spot the “slippery slope” before it starts.

// The Fine Print
The following policies apply to all CE Learning Lab programs and are publicly available.
Five (5) hours of CE have been approved by the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA) — Approval #M-0626-745. These live, virtual hours may be applied toward the Georgia Composite Board ethics renewal requirement or counted as general CE hours. Confirm acceptance with your own board as needed.
This is live, synchronous training. Participants must attend the entire 5-hour session and remain actively engaged — on camera and present throughout. Partial attendance does not qualify for CE credit.
Presence is confirmed through periodic check-ins, polls, or participation codes during the session, verifying the live attendance required for synchronous CE.
Please join on time. Arriving significantly late or leaving early may result in forfeiture of CE credit, as full contact-hour attendance is required.
A device with working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and the Zoom app are required. Participants are responsible for their own setup.
Certificates documenting 5 CE contact hours are issued after verified full attendance and completion of the program evaluation.
Participants may submit written complaints regarding course content, administration, or delivery. All grievances are reviewed in a timely, fair manner with written responses provided.
Tuition is $125, paid by Zelle or PayPal. Terms regarding cancellations, refunds, transfers, and administrative fees are stated prior to registration and available on request.
Participant information is collected solely for registration, attendance, and record-keeping, and stored securely. Reasonable ADA accommodations are available on request, including captioning and text-based materials.
